Faith Quest (Rotation Sunday School) Schedule for grades 1-5

Faith Quest is FUMC’s 6 week Sunday School Rotation Model Program. It teaches major Bible stories and concepts through various learning centers. Each week children, kindergarten through fifth grade, assemble in the Music Room (Singing on the Mount) for singing and then proceed with their “Shepherd” to an assigned center:

First 3 weeks
Cinema on the Mount (Video)
I Love to Tell the Story (Storytelling)
God’s Laboratory (Science)

Last 3 weeks
Promises.com (Computers)
Carpenter’s Workshop (Arts and Crafts)
Feed My Sheep (Cooking)

This program allows our children to experience one Bible story or concept over a six week period. The story remains the same, but the children encounter it in different ways in each station. The more different ways the children explore a story or concept, the more it is reinforced in their memories.
