THE ALTAR FLOWERS are given to the glory of God and in memory of Judy Barnes and Dan Stanley.

FLOWERS IN THE NARTHEX are placed in honor of Kimberly Moore and Brian Porter who were married here on Saturday, November 1, 2008.

OUR LOVE AND PRAYERS are extended to the family of Miss Louise Buckner who passed away on October 24, 2008.

THE UMYF will be sponsoring a salad and baked potato lunch immediately following worship today.  There is no cost for the meal...however, donations will be accepted.  All money raised will go towards the youth trip to Pilgrimage next weekend.  We currently have 47 youth and 9 adult leaders signed up to attend the trip.

UMYF will meet this evening from 5:15 - 7pm.  We will take a large group photo for Pilgrimage & James and Maddie Crissman will be finishing their program on Liberia.  We will also be handing out FUMC t-shirts. Come early if you want to play basketball.

THE YOUNG IN HEART will meet in the T. J. Whitehead Classroom for their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 4th at 10am.

THE UMW UNIT MEETING will be held Sunday, November 9th in the church parlor at 3:00pm.  Important business and an interesting and informative program are planned.
FUMC will once again be participating in the shoebox ministry sponsored by Samaritan's Purse. Instructions for preparing the shoeboxes are available in the breezeway, next to the lobby.  You may return filled boxes to the same area.  Shoebox deadline is Wed, Nov 19.
